“Upon the education of the people of this country, the fate of the country depends” (Benjamin Disreali).

Disreali makes a bold statement insisting that the country realize that without education the success of America, or any nation at that, will demise.

On January 8, 2002, President George W. Bush traveled to Hamilton High School in Ohio. There, he signed his legislation on the No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB). This Act was devised to establish rigid guidelines for public schools and makes states accountable for achieving significant improvements in education with emphasis on reading and math.
